An Engagement!

January 14, 2012 was a very exciting day for my family…FRED AND ROSE GOT ENGAGED! They went snowshoeing and stopped by a tree to have a snack. Fred pulled a small box out of his coat and got down on one knee and proposed to Rose! Of course she said yes! It was a perfect proposal; the sun was shining brightly, the snow was glistening, and it was a total surprise. Fred had not told anyone (including his family) that he was planning on proposing to Rose. The only person who knew was Roses’ dad because Fred had asked him, at Thanksgiving, for his blessing to marry Rose. Fred even bought the ring all by himself and kept it hidden from everyone all through the Christmas break. He really wanted it to be a secret! He sure succeeded in surprising Rose and everyone else! Fred picked the most perfect ring for Rose. It is so simple, but suits her extremely well! She is excited to be married to Fred!

Sprayed Tye-Dye T-Shirt

The instructions for this tye-dye shirt is basically the same as the the bleached shirt, but instead of bleach you use tye-dye.

Sprayed Tye-Dye T-Shirt Design

Step 1: Find some simple clip art designs
Step 2: Trace design on the non waxy side of freezer paper
Step 3: Cut out the design and place on the shirt the way you want the design with the waxy side down
Step 4: Iron on the freezer paper pieces

Step 5: Fill spray bottles with various tye dye colors-one color for each
Step 6: Spray shirt with dye.
Step 7: Let the shirt dry for a couple hours, when it is completely dry, peel off the freezer paper
Step 8: Wash the shirt by itself before wearing it

Bleached T-Shirt

Bleached Colored T-Shirt Design

Step 1: Find some simple clip art designs
Step 2: Trace design on the non waxy side of freezer paper
Step 3: Cut out the design and place on the shirt the way you want the design with the waxy side down
Step 4: Iron on the freezer paper pieces
Step 5: Spray shirt with bleach. The bleach will not show up right away, all you will see is a wet spot, so don’t spray your shirt too much.
Step 6: Let the shirt dry for a couple hours, when it is completely dry, peel off the freezer paper
Step 7: Wash the shirt by itself before wearing it

There you have it! A very simple way to make an awesome t-shirt!

Note: Black shirts will bleach brown, not white.
